Town

Headed to town yesterday with kp! Haven't met up and chat with this babe for damn long. It was fun, we talked and walked for very long. And now my leg is covered with blisters cause stupid me forgot to wear socks out :(

My #ootd:

Wanted to wear a really pretty floral kimono outerwear over but the weather was pretty hot.

Quite happy with my buys yesterday, a NYX eyeshadow palette and a H&M black bag that's on sale :) We got cheated cause the tag says the palette was going for 15$ but it was 24$ haha once I've saved up enough money I'll definitely buy a better eyeshadow palette! Oh, had this damn funny experience outside Sephora as well. When we stepped out of Sephora, we're approached by a random weird guy? He's just like "Oh I think you're damn pretty and I just had to talk to you'll since my motto is to strive for things that I want" something along those lines, and we're like wth? HAHA and we wanted to leave but he was damn persistent! Even when kp made up a white lie that I've a bf, he still don't want to let us leave so we almost literally ran away from him lol. I thought it was so funny but I guess I have to applaud him for his courage aye, we thought nowadays no one does these anymore hahah.

Last week was pretty eventful. Monday: I went for jc grad party at Butter Factory and it was pretty fun! I guess we went a little bit early. Everyone was awkward and no one dared to stepped onto the dance floor to dance but later in the night when everyone came, the dance floor got hyped up! Pretty good first clubbing experience for me :>

Tuesday: went out with my awesome bunch of friends to ECP and we played taboo for almost the whole day! Wednesday: I went to catch Hunger Games: Catching Fire with py, which at the start I was totally lost about the story plot but the ending was good :) Thursday night: jer and me went back to school for bowling BBQ! Then came Friday, the testimonial match. Played 6 games straight and I ended up with bad muscle aches all over my body since I didn't trained for so long already.

Gonna go for an interview tomorrow so wish me luck! Hehe okay bye I'll sign off with my selfies

Hi guys!
Haven't updated this space in quite a while, and I think the next post will be after A's.(I think this post is going to end up pretty wordy) Anyway, I really shouldn't even be typing this since A's are like in freaking 11 days?! But I guess I just needed some kind of avenue to let out some pent-up stress. I'm not feeling very prepared for it and am really scared since my prelims result was kind of shitty.. Even my good friend told me not to be too optimistic. Yet, I have no intentions of giving it up. I don't get it, I have people around me telling me that they're gonna give up and choose the option to retain etcetra. I mean why give up when you've already spent almost 2 years of JC life and haven't even tried anything? Just go out there and whack it ha ha ha. Not kidding but I'm really wishing everyone the best of luck and hoping that no one really gives up but just persevere through this one month or so. Even I'm gonna try my best so please wish me luck that I'll be able to get down on my ass everyday and just mug. I really want to prove those that look down on me wrong, and of course for my future. But without actions, it'll all just become empty words.

And yeah I'm gonna spend almost the one whole week(right before A's) going to school for time trials, study and consultations. Truthfully speaking, I think this is the one time where I've really put in some effort to study(other than primary school). I was such a nerd back then, but ever since primary 5 onwards when I moved back to my parents' house and with the computer..... All my results went downhill and even my attitude towards studying changed. I wasn't the hard-working, going home everyday bathe, study then sleep type of girl anymore and I regretted it so much. I didn't do well for secondary school and neither did I end up in an academically-excellent JC. But truth be told, even though it isn't the best out there, I don't really regret coming to YJ. As cliché as it may sound, I've met lots of good friends here and made lots of wonderful memories. I still remember that dreadful day when I woke up expecting/praying for the text from SRJC(since I was really betting on it), but got posted to YJ instead. Never did I imagined that I would actually end up in this school. Even when I went for open house, I was just taking a look around since my friends were more interested and I had zero intentions to come to this school at first. However what really changed my outlook was orientation. It was really fun with my OG mates and OGLs, they were so awesome. So myself became an OGL in JC1 orientation this year, and it was so damn fun! I really love my OG a lot hehe. Afterwards, I ended up in the best class ever: 120. Even though we all started out as strangers, we bonded so much over that one year and became such good friends, I love everyone <3 So yeah, for all those who don't think well of YJ and for those that might have really dreaded coming here, it's not really a bad school at all! The staffs, teachers and students are all really nice here! And I do think that our school's making some improvements academically and aesthetically(remodelling the art gallery and so..). Oh I guess it kinda turned out into a graduation-style paragraph, graduation was last Friday and it was pretty fun I would say! Pictures, pictures and more pictures. But I can't upload them cause I think I look terrible in them since I was running around the whole day..

I really hope for the best in A's..... sigh. So I guess I should be off studying for my bio now since it's on 7th and it's the FIRST freaking paper!!!! Consultation with my terribly strict and fierce bio teacher on monday ALONE, oh what have I gotten myself into. She's really scary but really nice too, hopefully I won't make her angry on Monday or what, oh ho or I'm as good as dead haha.

On a side note: totally can't wait for after A's. Party, shopping, overseas trips, work, play play and more play!!! Bought lots of new pretty clothes and I can't wait to wear them out! OH OH sorry for being random but Lee Min Ho is so damn good-looking in The Heirs. I wasn't a fan of him before but I'm totally fan-girling over him in The Heirs. It's a really good korean drama so go watch it if you have the chance to! Okay I better not think about all these for now, and yeah bio time. Bye!

FOOD

Hello guys :-)

I ate ALOT these past two days. I was so happy that I lost 1kg plus, but I guess with the rate i'm eating, everything's gained back already boohoo :(
Went to eat Ichiban Boshi with my mum yesterday, it's damn good. Then we had tea/dessert time at Green Pumpkin. Just a lunch cost us a bomb already oh man.
Today, went to Jem with py and Lesley, had Mado for lunch since they're having a set lunch promotion! Which I find isn't bad at all, I had pan-seared dory which tasted pretty healthy and I quite like it :) Walked around and had desserts at Paris Baguette. Can't emphasize how much I LOVE their royal puddings. <3 To me, it's really good and I can't get enough of it. After that we're supposed to head to Timbre @ Gillman but they weren't open on Sundays so somehow we ended up at Holland Village after much decisions. It was our first time at Holland Village and we were pretty lost I'll say. Ended up we had dinner at Hatched, which was kinda supposed to be a breakfast/brunch place. I had Smoked Royale eggs' benedict, and I totally love smoked salmon <3 Eating this gives me a feeling of eating breakfast at night so it was pretty weird but we were so full after so it was great! hehehe. I ate till my stomach's kind of bursting already oh man, gonna look forward to this coming Friday's gym session again. Hopefully I can lose somemore weight. I'm seriously screwed too because I've been out eating so much that I haven't studied as well omgz :(

Zoo x River Safari

Hello :)
I had a really great and fun day at the Zoo and River Safari today! Only went with py since it's such an impromptu trip, we only decided last night! This py suddenly said that there's a promotion(40% special) going on especially for today since its the Zoo's 40th anniversary, and I really wanted to go to the zoo so there we have it. Upon reaching, the queue was freaking long which I didn't foresee at all. End up we had to queue for around 45 minutes, and guess what? The ticketing counter said that if we wanted to see pandas, we had to pay additional $25 because pandas are inside the River Safari instead of the Zoo itself. We paid for it since my main purpose to the zoo was to see the pandas Jia Jia and Kai Kai, and I think it was pretty worth it since the Zoo's entrance fee was $8.80 so total was $33.80 for both the Zoo and River Safari. So yeah since I loveeeeeee pandas so much(since they're so damn cute), we decided to go ahead with River Safari first! (P.S. I'll only post pictures that are clear) Since most of the animals mainly aquatic are inside glass tanks, it's hard to take pictures without the glass reflections and blurriness.

Had lunch at Mama Panda Kitchen! The food was good and unexpectedly the prices wasn't too expensive! We had a Beef Ramen set which comes with Fried Lotus Root Crisps and Longan beancurd. Topped up with the panda pau and 2 iced lemon teas in panda bottle(1 for only 3.90$!!), the whole meal costs only $24.60!
