Pj pants kind of day

#nowplaying: Avril Lavigne - Let Me Go

Yoohoo guys~
Finally met up with my fantastic5(not all) for some K session at Katong TeoHeng today, then walked over to have katong laksa for lunch :) shiok, I love their otah so much as well. Ju and yv accompanied me to Far East to collect my parka from wonderstellar, yay it's so pretty I can't wait to wear it to Melbourne the week after!

Finally wore my pj pants out and it's so freaking comfy hehe. After walking around town, we went over to AMK hub to have dinner with py at Eighteen Chefs. I ordered the cheese-baked rice with scrambled eggs, salmon and prawns. With the all-day student meal comes the iced lemon tea and ice-cream as well, all this for around $10.80 is pretty worth it and the food's good!

Had bbq buffet with my winx club girlies two days ago at Gokiday(Teck Chye Terrace), ate non-stop from 5.30pm till 9+pm for around $26/pax. The price's pretty reasonable and there's lots of meat to choose from, and various other cooked dishes. What really surprised us was the oranges, we took so many plates of it because it tasted so sweet and juicy!!

Before the bbq buffet, py anna and me met at Plaza Singapura to have lunch! Had the student meal at Nana's Green Tea which I ordered the salmon cream udon with green tea latte. It's also priced reasonably at $13.90 as the udon made me super duper full!

Okay I'm really tired now after a whole day of walking..
Dilemma over university choices.. Anyone going to SUTD? I'm afraid I'll be a loner if i'm going since I'm missing orientation as well as the first few days of school :( sigh pie and I didn't take sciences in jc how am I gonna do this.

Hmmmm, till then.

Adventures along the northeast

#nowplaying: Bastille - Things We Lost In The Fire

Ate a lot today, like okay no surprise since I seem to be always eating.. :P
Met up with kp and had brunch at Group Therapy! We walked quite a distance from Chinatown mrt and sweated buckets full of sweat, the weather was so damn hot. It was located on the second floor of the row of shophouses and the staircase to the entrance was dim but glad that the interior's so pretty and chill. I ordered Poached Eggs($15) and a cooling Honey Lemon Tea($6), which in my opinion was too expensive for a drink :( The poached eggs were done really well, topped with generous hollandaise sauce and big slices of salmon which made me so full such that I couldn't finish the whole thing.

Chatted at the cafe for quite a while, then we headed off to Vivo to catch The Other Woman, which I find was a good and hilarious movie! Definitely a good watch if you're looking for some comedy with a pinch of romance and friendship, and also, pretty actresses :)

We headed over to dhoby to get her pretty lamp, and had dinner at Maki-San! Our virgin experience there, and we looked so noob wandering about at the entrance. Luckily there's instructions near the entrance, so we took a seat and chose what we wanted for our customized sushi! I customised my own Mega-san with 5 essentials(tamagoyaki, onions, chicken, ebi and parmesan cheese), 1 special(salmon sashimi) and japanese mayonnaise :) It was soooo good and filling, much worthy of the $10. We got the buddy meal for $20 which means 1 mega-san and a drink for each of us!

My #ootd:

Black high-neck top, white floral lace runner shorts and my Nike Air Max.

Also had this really delicious carbonara over at The Singapore Yacht Club a few days ago while catching up with my relatives :) Which I find was quite a pretty shot so I decided to post it as well!

Shopaholic

#nowplaying: Ellie Goulding - Goodness Gracious

Aloha guys!

Had a really great shopping day with nat, and I feel so broke now especially since my March's pay not in yet :'(
Met her at bugis and as usual I was late, like super late because I had really bad blisters right after I left the house. The cause of this were my new platforms which were a tad too big for me but it's too pretty for me not to buy it.. It was so painful that I rushed straight to Topshop to get the loafers that I had always wanted! Actually I wanted to get the black snakeskin one but there wasn't any at the bugis branch so I had to settle with white. Nonetheless, it's still so pretty and I felt like I was in paradise after the horror of the previous shoes. It was a good buy as topshop were also having a student's sale, 10% off as long as you flash your student pass(yay, glad that I'm still counted as a student!).

Here's my #ootd: (no choice have to take it myself haha)
White spag top and black mesh panel shorts with my new topshop loafers woohoo!

Walked around bugis, and eventually headed over to Somerset for more shopping... :)
Settled at Shokudo at Orchard Cineleisure for dinner! Yumz, I ordered their carbonara spaghetti with poached egg and bacon($12.80). The cream sauce is a little watery though personally I prefer sauce that are more creamy, regardless of which it's still really nice! Nat on the other hand only had the caesar salad with grilled chicken, don't know how she managed to be full with just that(maybe that's why she's so skinny) haha. We also ordered their Matcha Parfait($7.80), been eyeing it ever since we laid our eyes on it and it's so goooood.

So yeah, here's my loots for the day! Black double-strapped bralet and super pretty white rose mesh top from Scape, denim ripped jeans from Blogshopping bugis, silver chunky necklace(which was only $5?!) and round shades from Cotton on. Wanted to buy more stuffs but no we had to control ourselves. It was so funny that we kept pacing back and forth trying to decide whether to get a really pretty top but no end up the shop was closed so we kind of heaved a sigh of relief.

Also, I went to try Santouka Ramen at Central the other day! The picture's not very fantastic but the food's really delicious. I had Cha siew ramen($16.80 if I'm not wrong) in miso soup, and topped up a few more dollars for that awesome egg, I just HAD to get it. Also tried the pork cheek ramen($21 if I remember correctly), so much better than mine, the meat's so freaking tender urgh I wanna eat it now just remembering about it. Go try it out if you have the chance to :)

Currently, I'm in a dilemma over whether to accept the offer or not.. This offer is like the thread of hope in the midst of my "what ifs" and insecurities. Damn why do they start school so early and require an answer from me so quickly?!
Urgh shall just go for the thing and we'll see how.
Bye then!

Foodie

#nowplaying: Parachute - Hurricane

Hey guys!
Felt like I've been eating for the whole day..
Met up early in the morning with py and anna for breakfast at The Coffee Daily near Serangoon Gardens, wanted to visit this place for so long and glad that we finally did. The place's really cosy and chill, perfect for some hanging out with friends :)
I had their Salmon ciabatta with scrambled eggs and Matcha Latte for $18.50 which wasn't exactly cheap in my opinion, but the food's great! The scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy, topped with salmon which was a perfect combination, mmhmm.

Once we saw the rainbow cake displayed on the table, we knew that we had to try this much raved about Rainbow cake($10)! The cake's pretty big and we shared it, just good as a sweet treat after the meal.

Of course that wasn't all, we tried their new creation as well, the brownie with salted caramel($6.50). Chocolate's not my favourite so I didn't liked it that much but the cake's really soft and tasted good nonetheless.

After this, anna went for work while we went to meet up with ju. Headed over to Johor Bahru, the customs were so crowded since it was a weekend! Shopped around City Square Mall and went over to the new shopping center Galleria, but was really disappointed since not much shops were open for business yet. Took a cab down to Jusco at Bukit Indah, we were shocked by the size of the mall. It was so huge but there wasn't actually much interesting shops inside, mostly food and the departmental store. Felt fulfilled because I finally bought insoles for my really loose but pretty shoes, and they work like magic woohoo! Anyway, we took a cab(which we were seriously over-charged for) to Taman Sentosa for the delicious crab and some bbq food nomz.

It was so filling and now I'm feeling like a bloated pufferfish haha should really go exercising soon..

Till then,
xoxo.

Coffee day

#nowplaying: Coldplay - The Scientist

Hello!

Finally met up with kp and we're supposed to go cafe hopping, the weather was good too. Maybe a little TOO good since it was so sunny and hot :'( First stop, Bravery. We totally couldn't spot it if not for the "66 Horne Road" sign-age on top of the shop, lucky I did my research. It wasn't because it was isolated but there wasn't any signboard at all?! And call us foolish if you may wish, we couldn't find the door to open it HAHA is it too abstract that we couldn't understand? I swear we looked like weirdoes loitering outside the shop, so the key to opening it is the golden door. Anyway, prepared to order the food but the waiter kindly came over and explained that they ran out of TOAST and only had pancakes for the day?! We left the shop cause pancakes aren't enough for our hungry stomachs, but the waiter was really kind to recommend us another shop to have brunch. The Coffee Shot which was near the Bravery, just a right turn all the way to the end of the alley. Before heading there, we tried our luck by walking around the area trying to hunt for other cafes but to our dismay, most are closed for the day... By the time we reached The Coffee Shot, we were sweating buckets of sweat and just dying to sit down to chill.
The cafe's really quiet and the interior is rather pretty as well, we ordered Eggs benedict which was relatively okay and I had an Iced Caffe Latte to go along with it :) The eggs ben were a little too runny for my preference but there's a particular sweet flavour in the sauce that I thought was pretty good.

Sat there chit-chatting for around 1-2 hours, then headed for town to shop! Kp gotten some stuffs but I didn't manage to get anything today. We didn't know what to do after dinner cause we already walked the main shops that we wanted to go, so decided to head to my house for my chill and htht time. When she went home, fung came over to chat as well hahaha my house feels like it's always up for gatherings.

Anyway, here's what I wore today: (featuring my new kicks!!! yippee it's so pretty)

Nike Air Max which I bought at Taiwan, finally wearing it out for the first time hahaha it's so comfy and it's in my favourite colour! :)

Waddap

#nowplaying: Timber/Counting Stars(Mashup) - Sam Tsui

Hey guys!

Woke up early for brunch with py at Arbite, but apparently their menu changed and i'm so disappointed :( Salmon Eggs Florentino was good but I much prefer the previous Salmon Eggs Ben. The new menu was $14.90 and with only one poached egg and bread, oh well at least they gave huge slices of salmon.. Py on the other hand tried the new Duck and Eggs, which was really good and cheaper than mine!
Brunch was really filling but we always have the stomach for desserts hehe, headed over to Oblong for the usual, red velvet waffles with cream cheese filling but this time, with Sea Salt Caramel ice-cream! Totally worth the extra 60cents man, it's so delicious nomz.

Py had to leave for an interview after that, so I headed over to find my colleagues as usual haha nex is like my second home. Chilled with them till around 5pm, went home to do some chores and rushed out to meet ju and py for dinner at Somerset. I'm always late yeah yeah I know haha all my friends should know me well.. :B Walked around Somerset but most shops were closing already, so I only managed to get a lace mesh shorts which was really pretty but I can't seem to take a nice picture of it so oh well~

Here's the #ootd:

Pom pom shorts from @kissablebella :)
