Overdued

Here's some overdued photos from CVD(01/03), took some really pretty shots on the new school field when we're about to leave. Going back to school made me remembered all those times that I spent in YJ with these awesome bunch of people <3 

Went for SUTD and NTU's open house today! Really glad that I went down to find out more, made me rethink some of my decisions. Didn't do as well for my A's so there wasn't much choices opened to me, but I hope that I could still get into some courses which I want/interested in though. Went down to SUTD first, kind of got lost on the way since it was pretty deserted(?), but all hail Google Maps in times of need. SUTD was nice, the environment, people and there's a cafe called Bread Yard which serves good food as well. Had their Eggs Benitto added on with mashed potatoes and iced tea for only around $7, which was so worth it. We met some new people which were older than us(they were in different universities) and we sat down for a talk about universities, so thankful for their kindness and patience to explain everything to us, they're really nice people. 

Headed over to NTU next to meet Ali and YT at the hall. The hall's so nice and it's rather affordable to live there so I really want to stay at the hall if I can get into NTU. They brought us around NTU for a walk/tour, met many familiar faces on the journey and learnt a little bit more about the courses they offered there :) Along the way we also bought 3 puddings(caramel, tiramisu, mango) for $10, which tasted really good! As you can see below, there's a panda sprinkled on the tiramisu pudding which was so freaking cute!!

Went to Taiwan a few weeks back and will blog about it if I find the time to! Next stop, Australia here we come. 

P.S. Can't wait to quit my freaking job!!! woohoo.

Hot sunny day

#nowplaying: Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Met up with LA and py for lunch, wanted to catch a movie after that but sadly none fits into our schedule :(

So LA and me headed down to Oblong at Serangoon Gardens for some chill time. The place was certainly most befitting for a hot sunny day: spacious, modern, quiet and aircons. 

I ordered the Red Velvet waffles combo for $10 while LA ordered normal waffles with ice cream.

The red velvet waffles combined with cream cheese inside were really delicious, and being a matcha lover, I just had to order the matcha latte which was pleasantly soothing as well. Do have a light lunch before eating the waffles since it's really filling! I couldn't finish all of it :(

Afterwards, we rushed back to school for house showcase but we took the loop bus and we were really late. Such an unlucky day for LA and me. No choice, had to cab down and luckily we caught 2 houses' performance. Stayed on for some mass dance performance and explored around the school. Definitely missing studying in YJ and the company of my good friends :( All the nolstagia hit us when we walked around, reminiscing what used to be. 

Had a good two days off and now it's back to work time. Back to reality. Damn so depressing. Nonetheless, I'm really looking forward to this Saturday and next week's Taiwan trip! Yay :)
